Historical Snapshots: Ibrahim Hanano

Ibrahim Hanano (seated, middle), leader of the Aleppo Revolt against the French Mandate (1919-1921) pictured in Aleppo with veteran revolutionaries from the Syrian Revolt of 1925-1927. Seated next to Hanano is Sheikh Said Hababa (left). The picture was taken in August 1934, one year before Hanano's death in 1935.

My grand parents are greek, my parents syrian and me french.

Come on, you come from Aleppo, you should know some greek people.

Tu as raison, je connais queluqes familles en Alep qui sont d’origine grèque, et qui haditent en Syrie depuis toujours, mais ils ne sont pas des citoyens Syriens (je pense qu’ils sont choisi de ne pas appeler pour la citoyenneté Syrienne quand la syrie a devenu une pays indepedante de l’Empire ottoman).
J’en ai aussi des amis qui ont les deux citoyennetés...

J’ai lu presque tout tes rêves sur ton Blog !!
