I have a BLUE dream

Today is the day that so many Jalaa fans thought it will never come. For more than 20 years, they waited to see their basketball team finally playing for the championship, and actually have a very good chance of winning it.

The game will be played against Al-Jaish (last year’s champions) in Damascus, and will be carried live (hopefully!!) on Syrian satellite channel. Jalaa needs to win, or loose with less than 5 points, to guarantee the championship
.

Many wahdeh fans (another team from Damascus), have shown a lot of support to our team recently, and they expressed their desire to be at the game to cheer for us (class act Damascenes!!)…thank you guys…hope to see wahdeh back on its feet again, and compete for the championship next year…

Finally, let’s all hope for a clean game and FAIR OFFICIATING…and may the best team win…

GO JALAA GO...GO JALAA GO

Update:
We LOST....
Jalaa 78 X Jaish 100

Mabrouk to Jaish the win (and most probably the championship)....
Thank you to all Jalaa players and officials for a fantastic season...we came very close, but not close enough...there is always next year....

THE BLUE IS BACK AND IT IS HERE TO STAY!!
